Specialised yacht transport

Moving a yacht calls for proper preparation, the right rig and full account of the vessel’s dimensions and the route ahead.

NEW MBK carries vessels of many sizes on specialised trailers built for yachts. Every job is assessed individually: we set the rig configuration and decide how the vessel is positioned and secured for the journey.

Transport organised end to end
Where a move needs more than carriage alone, we handle the rest as well. Depending on the yacht’s dimensions and the route, we arrange the required permits, the pilot escort and ferry crossings.
That way the client can leave the whole move to NEW MBK, from collection point to destination.
Preparing the vessel for transport
Before the move we help work out how the vessel should be prepared. Depending on how the yacht is built, some parts may need protecting or removing.
When the vessel is placed on the trailer, our drivers take part in positioning and securing it for the journey.
